Internal & external stairs & a 2 year old

A house we are thinking of having a 2nd viewing on has internal stairs from the dining room into the sitting room - 3 rather steep steps where there is no possibility of putting up a stairgate as the steps are curved. Outside there are 4 or 5 steps down from the patio area to the lawn. Do you think the steps will pose a problem for my 2 year old? People I have mentioned this to have said that my son will soon be steady on steps & will be up & down them safely in no time. We are also planning on having one more child at some stage. What do you think? WOuld you consider buying a house with a few step inside & also outside in the garden? Apart from thsi the house is fab

Thanks ladies!!

Do any houses come stair free?? I wouldn't give it a second thought myself. If children didn't survive stairs the infant mortality rate would be about 80per cent!
