Blinds

We are going to have a 2nd viewing on a hosue this week. If we buy it, I would like to put horizontal blinds up but have no idea about blinds - what are nice ones? Any tips? Are they a nightmare to clean? Thanks

I have got vertical and am thinking of changing to horizontal. I know they will be a nightmare to keep clean. But I still want them. The verticals are too 'officy'. Just cant decide whether to have white or wood ones. I would like ones where you can close the ones on the bottom half whilst still keeping the top ones open IYSWIM.

Hosue not for us so will have to wait until we find a property!

I have thick wooden blinds in all rooms.I got them online and from outside they look like shutters I chose alabaster colour really lovely.They are v good for draughts and noise actually and I close them and hoover them and not too bad to look after

We need to order some but not sure which suppliers are any good....
