Radiator paint?

Looking for a Matt white radiator paint, all I have seen is Gloss.

Can I use any old white paint or does it have to be special.

Sat in my sitting room ( a classy farrow and ball type green) and it was so dark and gloomy at midday that I have decided to paint the whole dam house white. Hoping for a stylish clean and bright look, will probably end up looking like an institution.....ho hum.

My DH painted one of our radiators with a can of radiator paint, it looks like a brand new radiator. He got it from B&Q.

But is it glossy/shiny?
I am looking for a Matt paint.

I have never used a special radiator paint

just used gloss or eggshell

It's matt. I think it was by plasti kote.

It honestly looks like a brand new radiator, not a radiator that has been painted.

NOw that really is brilliant.
The reason I didn't want gloss was because I am rubbish at gloss paint and it always looks streaky and gloppy, but that is fantastic, a spray!
