Re-threading Roman Blinds

Hi

Not sure this is the right place to post, but can anyone tell me if it is possible to re-thread a roman blind? The thread on mine has almost worn through (it's about 2 years old) which means I can't put it down fully but I really like it and don't want to have to buy another if it's possible to repair.

Thanks
x

Yes very easy to re-cord - just buy some more blind cord - I think you can get it in John Lewis. Or contact a local curtain maker who will come round and do it for you. Be sure to knot off the cord on the bottom ring very firmly as this takes all the pressure.

Ah, I didn't think of John Lewis for cord, thanks for that

i do mine regularly. i buy the cord from my local market...its about 10 pence/metre.

keep the blind down so its fully flat, wedge yourself behind it and start at the bottom where the ring is and follow the rings upwards, treading as you go....easy!
