Farnham, Surrey?

Anyone know anything about Farnham? Schools, where is best to live, has it got a sense of community, whats the commute into London like? Anything really.

If I remember correctly (had a boyfriend at Uni there) the commute was a pain the ass as you had to go via Guildford so it wasn't a straight line. The sense of community seemed nice (but once again, I was related to students) and I don't know about where was best to live.

But I do have friends who have moved there and others who have grown up there and they all like it!

Farnham to Waterloo takes about 45-50 mins and is direct but half a dozen tedious stops. I went to art college there, I know nothing about housing though...
