Block viewing of a property with other buyers - any tips?

I have never been in this situation before. It's quite a dilapidated house but is on at a good price so I should think a few people will want to see it apart from us. There is one block viewing over an hour with the estate agent on Saturday morning - there have been issues with access and I think this is part of the reason why. I am a cash buyer with no chain. Is there any way I can give myself an advantage (other than be there early, I suppose), or general dos and don'ts?

I know it's a very dull, and possibly fruitless, question, but if anyone has any words of wisdom I'd be really grateful

Be early
Take notepad and pencil
I always take a digital camera and take photos
Don't feel rushed by the other people and take as long as you want
Go round the place twice

Don't be pressured or rushed and get a full survey done.

Cash doesn't always win the day - from bitter experience. So I'd go in early with my offer and keep reminding them that you are a cash buyer and can complete quickly. Try not to offer full asking price, unless you think it's a reasonable one for area and state of house.
