Where can I find really cheap vinyl flooring?

Inspired by a thread last night I've finally decided we should put down new temporary flooring in our kitchen (it is revolting stained carpet at the moment!).
But budget is very tight so I need to find something really cheap.
Any thoughts on where to look?

Maybe Allied Carpets? Or a cheap carpet shop - they usually sell it off the roll. You can also buy vinyl strip/tiles with peel off backing from places like B&Q.

We do have a cheapy carpet place near us, will check it out, and B&Q too.
