Architect in the House

Just a quick one:

Architect in the House is a scheme run jointly by RIBA and Shelter, which allows people to have an hour long consultation with an architect for a £40 minimum donation to Shelter. It runs every year for a limited period; this year they're taking applications until 1st July and will allocate architects after that.

We have signed up this year and are anxiously waiting our allocation.

What a great idea.
(no need for an architect here though)

As much as I hate to report a fellow architect - this isn't the place for spamming advertising

I did this last month. It was good. My architect was very well informed and helpful and made so e helpful suggestions I would never have considered. I'll definitely use him officially if we go ahead with the project.
