Can't decide between one agent who charges 1.5%, or another at1.75% - they have "offered" to do a joint agreement at 2.25% - is this reasonable? what is everyone else paying?
thanks

We're about to put house on market and agents (who have been letting house for us so have made loads of ££ out of us) have said it is 1.5%. I am going to check the others in the area and suggest that 1% might be more appropriate.

Tbh, 0.25% is not much in the great scheme of things - it's the agency who can get you a sale, who you feel that you can trust and who will price realistically that you should be choosing.

Agree totally with lala. If the agent is crap then you'll end up with a lower price for the house anyway.

ilovemydogandmrobama · 28/05/2009 21:50

I negotiated a flat fee.

1.5% round here
