Anyone got any experience/feedback on star-type soaker shower heads?

Hi - has anyone got any experience of shower heads like this one ?

They look nice, but not sure if they will give an effective shower versus a square or circle shaped soaker.

Anyone had the pleasure (or otherwise) of using one?

I am not so sure.
Think of all the cleaning inbetween the fingers you will have to do!

there's one similar to that where i am renting and it gives an effective shower, but as claricebeansmum thinks it is a b**r to clean. Here in particular limescale is a pain.
I prefer a shower on a detachable hose because cleaning down the walls of our shower is a real pain too because it needs a good scrub and i end up using a jug of water to rinse them down. At my old place i used to just unhook the shower head and hose the whole thing down after cleaning.

Thanks for the feedback. I am going to go for a more traditional style (but not one of the detachable hose ones cos the hanging down hoses annoy me - they make me think of flaccid willies )
