Terrace property with ofshot kitchen, is it possible to extend the kitchen

not really sure how you would go about it, also is it possible to put a bathroom in an attic which is currently massive bedroom.
Just thinking for the future.

depends on planning. alot of folk demolish these off shoot bits and build the full width of the house and double height.

bathroom depends on soil pipes etc.

best thing to do is find out what other houses in teh street have done as this sets a precedent.

Everything is possible.You could extend the kitcen into the side and create access from the dining room to give a big family space.I am sure the bathroom would be no probs as if the loft room covers the whole area there will be a section which is above the current bathroom and the pipe work can be accessed from tehre

cool, now to spend the next 10 years or so saving up I figure when dd's (now 5 and 3) become teenagers we will need more than one bathroom.

What about re jigging the space you have?is there any room for doing some changes without such a huge £
