Sorry to ask again <pats eyes dry after mini melt down in B&Q) but I need help with bathroom paint?

First of all does it need to say bathroom on the tin? Are any certain brands better?

I'm also stuck with colours! Suite is white, taps chrome, tiles as in this picture. Bathroom doesn't have much natural light, has 2 small windows and the glass is the frosted weird privacy glass.

Just went to b and q and was uttlery overwhelmed by paint choices!

white is fine.

I would always use bathroom paint rather than just normal paint, as if you get much condensation in the room, bathroom paint is designed to withstand it - normal paint can mildew and I have even seen it run and leave streaks.

Agree with dragon on colour, white works well. The colour of the tiles will stop it feeling too cold.

I always use Dulux paint - we have tried own brands before and been disappointed. You need it to say bathroom as it is damp resistant.

I'd go for white too

I know somebody with those tiles who painted their walls a rich brown. If your bathroom is well ventilated and the walls are not likely to get wet then you don't actually need bathroom paint. We have very flat matt in ours and it's fine.

Buy kitchen and bathroom paint - it stands up to moisture better. Just get white as the tiles are quite striking and you don't want paint colour fighting for attention against them.

I've only just escaped the magnolia and white hell of rented living. I think I'm desperate to have colour so that is clouding my judgement! If you say white though, white it is.

PS will def go for special bathroom paint seems safer really!

Oh, am choosing bathroom paint at the moment.
Our tiles are a bit lighter than yours, but similar.
I think we have gone for Dulux Natural Hessian (more of a stone feel than peachy Magnolia).
Bathroom paint though, deffo.

Hmm lizzylou, just looked on dulux sight think it may be too dark for our bathroom as it's quite small. Although the lighter hessians could work. So confused by this now; am worried white walls beige tiles will be too stark IYSWIM?

It's very light, lighter than the Magnolia there at the moment. Sort of white with a hint of stone.
Am in a new build with Magnolia everything, I feel your pain!

Hmm ok will grab a sample pot of some similar shades today and possbly some white and see which is best.
