Urgent! Excess wallpaper paste - how do I get rid of it?

It's so long since I did any decorating, I've forgotten whether or not I can tip it down the drain, obviously with lots of extra water - can anyone help?

I poured ours down the kitchen sink and rinsed it away with soapy water. Don't think it's got any nasties like white spirit in it, so should be ok.

I'd stick it in a carrier and put it in the bin.
