Can anyone recommend using etch window film...

Was wondering if anyone has used the window transfer type things that emulate etch or stained glass.

I'm giving my front door some very much needed TLC and thought about using these large transfers, thinking about the etch type in particular.

Any recommendations very much appreciated.

We have used them twice. In our last house we had massive front windows with a modern design and we went for large pieces instead of blinds. On the door we had a circle with our house number in it and it looked fab.
In this house I've used smaller pieces on a bathroom and laundry room.

I would really recommend it. Not that hard to do and looks great. GOT to measure carefully though before you order.

I would really recommend this company:

That's great SJM.

I really like the idea of the house number circle by the way.

I'll get onto that company and thanks again.

oooh I missed this! So I am probably too late, I have just done my bathroom window and bought it from abodewindowfilms.

As it was a straightforward window I just bought it on a roll and cut it to size.

It was much cheaper from there for just the plain frosted look. I do like the door number in a circle but not sure if abode do them.

It was very quick delivery too.
