We have a 2nd viewing tomorrow

We have been on the market since the end of January & tomorrow will be our first 2nd viewing - have done a thorough clean & tidied all the cupboards/wardrobes & made sure the garden is at it's best. It is a young couple who are coming back & bringing their parents this time. I am not builing my hopes up but would love to recieve an offer as we haven't had a single one yet, despite viewings.

Positive vibes please ladies ++++++++

Good luck, the market is not as "dead" as other might have you believe. We put our house on the market in Nov (bad time before Christmas) and had an offer in March. Fingers crossed we are about to exchange, but won't believe it until it happens.

WIll keep my fingers crossed for you too!!

Good luck, sounds like you have done all the right things, tidying throughout etc. If they are bringing their parents then that is a very good sign. We did the same with our first property.
Hopefully the weather will be good, always helps if the sun is pouring through the windows (which I would crack open if it's not too cold, makes everything feel fresh). I will have my fingers crossed for you. We've just gone under offer too but I'm not counting my chickens yet either this market is still crazy!

Thank you FGT - it is glorious sunshine here & I have just been de-heading the hanging baskets out front/back. Can't leave the windows open unfortunately as I will be out all afternoon & the viewing is at 5 o'clock. Will spray the house with the summer fresh spray as that makes it smell nice & summery.

Good luck to you too, I hope you complete uick & easily

verylapsedrunner · 29/04/2009 19:19

How did it go?

WantingToMove · 29/04/2009 19:50

They came round about 6 o'clock & the EA said they didn't give anything away AGAIN. Soooooo frustrating!!!! So we will have to wait until tomorrow...

Thanks for asking

Don't give up hope, we made an offer today after a 3rd viewing!

WantingToMove · 29/04/2009 21:38

That's fab verylapsedrunner - hopefully when we sell we will find our dream house (or as near as poss!) as quickly as you have so we won't have to go into rented accommodation. Congrats

wombleprincess we don't have an airing cupboard & the oven is OK (shudders)!!

WantingtoMove - We were on the verge of going down the rental route. To be honest the place we have gone for is a compromise but is probably right for us at this point (hence our hesitation & 3rd viewing).

Well the feedback is tjat the couple love our house & garden & could move in immediately without having to do any work but they are seeing if they can afford to make an offer on a house up the road that is on the market for £20k more than ours. Needless to say I am dissapointed & very down in the dumps

Forgot to add that the other house has a dining room & a small galley kitchen whereas we don't have a dining room but have a big-ish (12" x 12") kitchen/diner. They are willing to compromise on the garden for the dining room
