What paint do I use to paint my outside meter cupboard?

The house is 20 years old so is it made of plastic? Fibreglass?

I have no idea!!

The original owners have painted it red so I want to change it to another colour.

Anyone done this?????

I have no experience as such but if it were me I'd go for something like hammerite smooth
