What current owners paid?

Does anyone know where I can find out what the current owners of a house we are very interested in bought for? They said they bought 9 years ago and every site I've tried online so far seems to only go to 2000 and its not coming up so I'm guessing they bought in 1999 and I can't find that information.

We're under offer, and it says this info in our HIP.

try zoopla.co.uk & you can change the search criteria to since 1995

FAQinglovely · 03/04/2009 23:18

ourproperty I'm sure does pre-2000

FAQinglovely · 03/04/2009 23:19

yes it does

Thank you. I'm now bothered because I can't find the house on there at all. Should I ask the estate agents? We weren't shown round by the owners, it was the teenage son. The owners are divorsing and everything is going through the son (poor boy). Maybe I should ask to see the HIP to see if its on that.

Land Registry? I'm pretty sure this is the case in Scotland, anyway.

I agree with Habbibu, try LR as surely it must be on there no matter when they bought it? Good luck!

rebl - on ourproperty website you need to search with the postcode on that first screen and then sometimes the street you are searching for doesn't come up because it is set to default for the last 2 years.

Below the "click on a road for detailed results" there is the search box with the post code in that you searched on, at the end of that there is a drop down box for the year, do ALL YEARS and you should be able to find the info you want.

Hope this helps
