KNOBS

Where can I buy some decent knobs?

They are for our new fitted bedroom cupboards -ideally I want something a bit different, something interesting rather than the run of the mill sort you buy in B&Q. Maybe coloured glass ones or ceramic?

The trouble is we need 10 so I could do without them being too expensive.

(and before I'm accused of leading you here under false pretences with the thread title, what did you expect in the property/DIY section )

Thanks

sassy · 15/03/2009 11:32

Sorry, that was rude!

How are you? etc. And still lolling.

MissisBoot · 15/03/2009 11:32

NorbertDentressangle · 15/03/2009 11:32

Oh, and colourwise , purple would be good but I'm scared of googling "Purple Knobs"

there's an online shop bombay something. i'll have a think.

don't write off b&q though they have some nice knobs. got some green/brown and blue square glass ones.

southeastastra · 15/03/2009 11:38

here bombay duck all the knobs you'll ever need

navyeyelasH · 15/03/2009 11:38

Just googled and found this, "Get Your Knobs At Great Prices"

Come on ladies, get your purses out

sassy · 15/03/2009 11:40

Not too bad, thanks. Can you believe Littlefish is twisting my arm suggesting I do some supply at her gaffe after the tales she told at the meetup? I must be mad very committed to even consider it!

NorbertDentressangle · 15/03/2009 11:42

SEA -knob heaven on that link! Thank you.

Sassy -go for it, there will never be a dull moment from what Littlefish has said. Just brush up on your control and restraint skills and finely polish your more colourful language and you'll be fine

I'm still googling -haven't found the knob of my dreams yet but am having a childish snigger at some of the website names:

knobgallery
coolknobs
houseofknobs
hotknobs (and yes it is a site for door knobs, nothing dodgy )
fun knobs

Anyway, back to my search -its the bohemian, quite chunky styles I'm looking for I think. Not the faceted crystal-type ones.

IKEA is full of knobs

PrimulaVeris · 15/03/2009 12:17

I really think you need to see them and handle them for yourself. Pics on the web can be photoshopped and enhanced to look flash, remember. They need the right type of ergonomic grip, I find ...

NorbertDentressangle · 15/03/2009 19:44

lol @ Primula Veris
