I'm thinking pictures, pretty lampshades, painted shelves...really girly stuff. Have looked at GLTC but is anywhere else good?

I've seen some nice things in Dunnes, if you have one of them near you. A lot of those sort of cheaper household-items-type shops like Instyle etc do cheap and nice room decorations, lamp shades etc HTH

Thanks peggotty. I don't think we have a Dunnes, I will have to look it up. Kept it neutral when we did the nursery but want to make it a bit more interesting for her now.

white company, aspace, vertbaudet

I get bits from Little White Company, Cath Kidston, Laura Ashley - all the usual suspects. Also lovely stuff from Notonthehighstreet, often a bit more individual.

Ooh lovely, thanks. Have tried a few craft markets etc, but not want I want really. Still want it to be tasteful but she must get sick of gazing up at white bland walls poor love.

www.vertbaudet.co.uk does lovely stuff for girls bedrooms, a bit more affordable too. Click on the homes section.

Try Dunelm mill

Great suggestions guys. Loads here I've not looked at yet. Big clink of my rather large glass of wine to you all.

Kidzdens and Letterbox are good for accessories for children's rooms
