Can anyone give me a rough idea how much tilers charge please?

I want to put floor tiles down in our bathroom and ensuite and I have no idea how much to budget. The bathroom is small and the ensuite is tiny! Together the floor space is less than four metres square. TIA.

here's another one who doesn't know

but I would like to!

they usually charge per aquare metre.
about £25-£35 per square metre for labour

depends on the size of the tiles, the floor it will be laid on and the preparation work required. for example if you need to have the floor screeded or board put down. the labour cost should include prep, laying of tiles, grouting and clean up.

materials would be extra but your tiler should get a trade discount.

DH is a tiler so any other questions feel free to ask!

for an en suite about that size we were quoted £400 recently. DH ended up doing it himself, although he didn't have any experience at all and it looks pretty good (my dad used to be a builder and he gave his seal of approval )

Thanks ihavenewsockson - that gives me a good idea what to budget.

Vacaloca - £400 If we get a quote like that I'll be doing it myself!!
