Offer accepted now what??

The vendor has accepted our offer, as a FTB I have no experience of what happens next. Is it, solicitor, survey, complete? Our mortgage is agreed!

We're in the same position. Here's what we have done;

• engaged a solicitor
• gone back to the mortgage people and got them to formally process the offer to make the funds available and put them in touch with the estate agent
• through the mortgage co, engaged a surveyor (we have paid for the additional cost of homebuyers survey but the same person is doing it)

That starts the ball rolling and from there, the sol, ea and mortgage co do most of the work but you need to check up on progress to ensure that everything move along quickly.
