A house we like has been on the market since Oct 2008 at £325k in SE london.
then they reduce there price to 300K last month
now is under offer.
we are a first time buyer,My maximum limit for a property is £250k ,ideally I would like to pay less than that.
in zoopla this house,s value 248K.
could the EA let us know what is the current offer is?

thanks alot

Do you really want the house so much that you would do this? . Seems desperate and unnecessary in this climate. Presumably there are other houses of a similar price in the same area?

Come on. Guzumping (sp ?) is just not nice. Not the done thing.
Plus, they wanted 325, but have settled for 300. What makes you think that they will touch 250 with a brgepole. I wouldn't. You want it that badly, even though you think it is over-valued. by atleast 52k - (300-248). I am sorry, but none of this makes sense.

The EA is unlikely to tell you. Your best bet is to contact the agent, say you were interested in the property, and that if the current offer falls through, can they let you know.. That way if there's a long delay, or the buyer has a problem financing it, then you might be in with the option.
