Has anyone got/had a Cooke & Lewis kitchen?

B&Q have just started stocking them and they look very good, but would be interested to hear if anyone has experience of them.

The other alternative we are looking at is Ikea, but the Cooke & Lewis appear more stylish.

They are lovely but B&Q will be doing a difusion range, like kate moss at top shop kind of thing so I imagine it'll still be B&Q quality which isn't great our neighbours replaced theirs after 3 years it looked so tatty.
Ikea is ok as long as you have a very regular shaped room as it's not easily adjusted.
Have you looked at wickes ?

Looks to me like Cooke and Lewis is just a brand name invented by B&Q as we looked on the website and it all seemed to be the same thing. It's not like it's a seperate company, but like Sorrento says, a diffusion brand.

DP has fitted a few B&Q kitchens and has encounted awful problems - usually related to it all appearing in dribs and drabs and not in one go! He fitted someone's kitchen 8 mths ago and some of it still hasn't turned up!!

DP always says how surprised he is at how good the quality of IKEA is and the other he likes is Magnet. Check out Wickes too. You could look at Howdens - although we've had to sort of quite a few repairs with them at the moment.

That's great advice, thanks Sorrento and JeanJeannie. I was concerned that it might be a case of style of substance, and its not actually pricing out that cheaply.

We have had a quote from Magnet, but it is VERY high, and even with their 50% discount I can't fathom paying nearly £450 for a bin drawer!

We had a quick look in Wickes but haven't designed yet bassed on their options, but I will definitely have a look. I saw them recommended on a DIY site too.
