Anglian Home Improvements - have I made a mistake?

Guy came round today to give us a quote for replacing the guttering and fascias. DH quite in favour as he's heard good things from Anglian from people who've used them.

Googled after we'd signed up with them to find horror stories (inc some on MN). TBH the price quoted seemed reasonable if it really is a four-day job as suggested but ...

So .. dunno. We've paid a 50 quid deposit, what would happen if we tried to bail out now?
