Sound proofing airing cupboard

We have recently had our bathroom replaced and have had a water pump fitted which is in the airing cupboard.
Whilst I am loving being able to have a decent shower I am not loving the volume of the pump - think aircraft taking off! Airing cupboard is also right next to DD bedroom and she is often disturbed by the noise.
I know we will probably get used to the noise over time but is there anything we can do to try and minimise the noise?
Thanks in advance

Sure you can get stuff specifically for this from B and Q. Think ours has some kind of padding. You can also put sound proof stuff on the door itself if you have enough room.

Try calling B and Q and asking or look on website.

Watching with interest as we have exactly the same problem - a nightmare in the evening as we have to leave the washing up until the morning, try to brush our teeth without the pump kicking in etc etc. or dd2 wakes up.
