Fitting curtains into a dormer window??

Has anyone done this easily. ATM we have a roller blind up but it lets lots of light in and I don't want DS1 and 2 waking up at stupid O'clock when the lighter mornings arrive and I thought blind + curtains might solve the problem TIA

You can get special dormer poles that swing across to open and close.
