moving to cardigan

my dh and my 3 dc and me are moving to cardigan in march/april. house need tlc. which we dont mind as we can make our mark, just wondering what its like for jobs, things for kids etc any insider advice welcome thanks

We are in the process of moving to the Aberystwyth area (an hour or so from Cardigan?) and I'm not particularly optimistic about job prospects and would imagine that Cardigan is quite similar. You're nearer places like Haverfordwest, Fishguard and Milford Haven so there may be more chance of oil or ferry related work there. Hopefully someone with more localised knowledge will be along soon.

You've obviously bought a house as I was going to say that property seems to be cheaper towards Cardigan and beyond than the area where we've been looking (but need to be due to family which is why we're moving in the first place).
