South London architect - any recommendations?

Have been browsing websites. They all look great, but it's hard to pin down who might, in real life, be good to work with, down to earth and capable of working within my modest extension/renovation budget. Any tips/suggestions?

He lives in CHislehurst now, used to live in Eltham, has done a few buildings around that area. Is it a house renovation you're after? He has done a few of those (including listed buildings).

That sounds a bit further south of me, solidgold, but I'll investigate! Yes, it's a renovation and extension (tho not listed - that would be scary)
