What do you suggest that would stop the arctic blast coming through the gaps in my French Doors?

Very poncey problem I know...but its effin freezing in our kitchen.

I've tried that thin sticky spongey stuff on a roll...not really much cop.

How else can I stop this wind whistling through?

Oh, and I should say, I don't want to put curtains up.

Thick curtain?

lol

The idea of a thick curtain is good...but our room is so light now we have had these doors put in, I don't want to spoil it with a big old curtain rail .

If there was something I could put up just for the winter I would. But I wouldn't want anything there in the summer.

you can get a special strip which seals it up... is that what you have already tried? are your gaps at the bottom or down the middle

Are they wooden? A joiner might be able to fix some sort of "lip" around the gaps.

thanks for your suggestions. I think I will try the thing down the middle...my dad suggested something similar with a brush edge?
