BEDROOM DILEMMA!!!! Bored with pale blue/chocolate - what can I put with it for a bit of ooomph?!!!

Please I need some inspiration, currently have cream walls, brown shaggy rug, either cream or blue duvet cover (depending on what's in wash!) and blue/brown cushions.

Just fancy an injection of colour somehow but am at a loss as to what!!!!

Anyone got any ideas please? Thanks.

Red or terracotta would go ok with the walls and rug you've got. Or a bright green (eg lime green) if yuo want something brighter. Maybe get a couple of cushions in those shades first and if you like it get a duvet cover to match?

I would get a throw and cushions to match in raspberry, or a bright turquoise or teal.

Thanks - maybe red would be good - don't really want to change ALL my cushions - maybe one or two would be good.

mmmmmm raspberry would be warmer than turquoise which was my first thought. I want to make it look a bit cosier.

turqouise would look great! there re some beautiful shimmery sequinned cushions about too at the moment

TMMJ - I agree but not sure Dh would go for 'shimmery sequins' - lol!!!!

I would also go for something in the red/ raspberry spectrum - from cerise through to purple.
