Why thank you. Yes that works - it looks like something Kelly Hoppen would do (and I do, in fact, have taupe walls and dark brown sofas!) I like the symmetry of sofas opposite but do worry about not enough space for the rugrats. And of course their Telly.

Anyone else gonna post their own rooms for showing off/advice?

Kelly Hoppen, modest blush... I met her once and she was quite terrifying. The beauty of this room is that toys (and possibly the children themselves ) can be hidden behind big sofa when they all get a bit much.
