Anyone live in or near Reading?

We are thinking of moving in or near Reading in the future. DH needs to be able to get the train into Paddington. Where are the best areas to live/ for schools?

In fact many years ago, I visited Woodley many a time (I lived over in Thatcham and worked with said friend in Reading)

We are planning to move to lower earley that comes in outskirts of reading. We are currently based in woking and have got 2 kids age 7 and 6. They go to a v good school whose ofsted is 1. But me and my husband are moving to lower earley coz we think the lifestyle and schooling both primary n secondary is excellent In this area.
Need advice about the area especially schools.
