How much to have a new bathroom fitted?

We are looking to replace like for like, and just want someone to do the plumbing. We'll tile, we've got the hang of it now!

How much do I need to budget (roughly) to fit a bath, sink and loo in their existing spots?

Any ideas how much it will cost to install a decent shower? There isn't one at the moment.

Finally, any recommendations for a good quality but inexpensive bathroom suite?

We are having our bathroom re-fitted right now, and I was wondering if we had a good deal, so I wandered over to this topic and, saw your thread!

We have been given a quote of £1,200, which is: skimming the ceiling and walls, tiling entire walls, fitting halogens and extractor, removing and replacing bath and fitting basin, toilet and towel rail.

We had some of the work associated with this already done the plumber who relocated our boiler (ie removal of sink and toilet and placement of pipework for shower, towel rail and basin).

We are also having a slate floor laid at a cost of £200. I'm guessing that the whole lot will be around £2K? Don't know if that's good or not. If you're tiling yourself it will obviously be way cheaper.

We got our suite from Bathstore, who do offer 12months interest free credit in store, it that helps. The 'Denver' and 'Anna' suites are their cheaper range, and everything is colour-matched, so you can choose whichever bath, and it will still be the same shade of white.

We got our towel rail and Mira shower from Plumbworld - showers and taps are a lot cheaper from here, and there are many to choose from.

Anyone else?

I think I was quoted £800 for like for like plus a new mixer shower.

And we got our bathroom from B&Q. £200 for the lot. I don't know if it's good quality but we're certainly happy with it.

Sorry, that was £200 plus cost of the actual shower.
