Sorry. I have lost the instructions.. I put in the two fittings with screw in recessed window and trying to trim the actual blind to the size...and although the whole thing fits in, it doesn't fit with the screwed in fittings..if you know what I mean. Am I meant to cut it shorter again and then I put it in and it's done?? or is there more to it, and what am I supposed to do with bead chain connector...??? I have never done this before and DH is non DIY. I would REALLy appreciate some help...before I cut the blind too narrow..

The easiest method is to
1.Put the brackets up in the window and measure the distance inbetween them.
2.Then plug the beaded control into the pole so you can see the overall width.
3.Measure along the pole starting at the beaded control and mark the length that is needed to fill the distance between the brackets,
3.Deduct 2mm to give a little play and then cut the pole down.
4.Pop it up into the brackets and the job is done.

If you have any further blinds problems or questions you are welcome to call us, we don't mind that the blind hasn't been bought through us we would be happy to help.
