in a group of 7 houses!!

here

I would want my own estate!

We live close to these, and no way should they get those prices

maidamess · 08/10/2008 21:47

That would cost 3million where I live.

Milliways · 08/10/2008 21:48

no.

i'd spend a mil on a house if i had it, just not one that looked like that.

ForeverOptimistic · 08/10/2008 21:51

I can't imagine them selling. Seems very overpriced for Reading.

Milliways · 08/10/2008 21:53

Precisely my thought Expat

HRHSaintMamazon · 08/10/2008 21:54

oh that looks like a picture of a toy house.

Pria · 08/10/2008 21:57

Lost me at "gated development"

nannyL · 09/10/2008 19:13

i dont think thats too badly priced actually

if moeny was NO object i would be wanting a hosue with lots of lovley old original features etc etc BUT if i didnt care about nice features, and money was no object i would think that would be ok for £1m

SmugColditz · 09/10/2008 19:24

for that price I don't want a georgian Inspired Property, I want a big Georgian house!

southeastastra · 09/10/2008 19:25

would be more here too, lots of gated 'communities'

looks very legoland

lilymolly · 09/10/2008 19:26

for that price I would want land and stables at least

muggglewump · 09/10/2008 19:26

No, I don't think much to that house

FimboGotAxed · 10/10/2008 10:16

this is for sale in my village. I think it is hideous tbh. It's on a cross-roads with the main routes through the village.

Gobbledigook · 10/10/2008 10:21

No because I have a serious dislike for new estates

Gobbledigook · 10/10/2008 10:22

No, don't like that Fimbo.
And the garden - my garden is bigger than that and my house is probably half that price.

LadySanders · 10/10/2008 10:22

i think its ok, and would cost a lot more than that in london where i live...

Gobbledigook · 10/10/2008 10:25

Mind you, you don't get that much for £1mill really.

not far from me

I would not pay 1.2 million for this house, lovely as it is.

Gobbledigook · 10/10/2008 10:26

Blimey, just noticed purple walls in the kitchen on my one - ooooh, I LOVE that! It would match my purple tights lol

babbi · 10/10/2008 11:17

Love it Fimbo ...... Babbi dreams of flouncing about playing at lady of the manor !! (also dreams of fab cleaner to keep it in order )

I couldnt get 1/10th of that for £1m where I live. Here, 3 bed 1 bath victorian terraces with no garden go for £1m

Tortington · 19/10/2008 00:23

hideous

findtheriver · 19/10/2008 09:53

I would pay over £1 million not to live in a mock Georgian house adjacent to a golf course.
