Oh and the areas we are thinking about in Cheltenham are Leckhampton, Warden Hill and Charlton Kings.

DH lived in Nympsfield, a tiny village near Stonehouse. He went to the local primary there, and, bear in mind this was 1981, he got beaten by the nuns running it.

Just a warning!

LOL! Not at the beatings of course but how bizarre!?

I know. I've seen picture sof them, and man, they looked like that had some issues that needed therapy. He's never quite got over it, and it really affected our decision to marry. Beatings, knuckle thumps in the back, chinese burns. What the heck were these women doing in charge of children?????

That is so sad cannot understand why anyone would do something like that but especially people who are supposed to have a better moral compass than ordinary folk.

Brrrr (shakes off the bad story). Lovell area, though. Iv'e spent a lot of time around there with friends. I adore Stroud, but it feels sometimes like an extension to Glastonbury. Some real characters! Sorry, that sounds negative, but I would love to live there.

Ok,Leckhampton - fab. Great schools and lovely, lovely area. Warden hill is close by, not sure about area. Charlton Kings also lovely with excellent schools.

We are renting in Cheltenham at the mo and are looking at buying in Leckhampton in the next few months. Cheltenham is a great place to live. There are a few places to avoid but i feel a bit loath to mention them here as people living there, may read this and be bloody pissed off. Anyway Leckhampton and Charlton Kings and you'll be fine.
Fairview is a nice area too but not sure bout schools.

Warden Hill seems cheaper than Leckhampton, wondered why?
