Looking into it, which kit would you use?

Didn't use a kit, just followed instructions on internet site - try one like this

Went to the library and got a book (in the old days!) - it was actually really easy. I made about 5 before I ran out of windows.

No need for a kit - just buy the tape to slide the dowelling into, your fabric and the lining fabric. Oh and some cord, thread and a little wooden blob thing for the bottom of the string.

I followed the instructions printed in a magazine the first time. I haven't ever used a kit.
