How to lay vinyl flooring in a bathroom?

Our old wooden floorboards are uneven and will need covering in plywood (?) before laying the vinyl so how do I go about this given the bathroom has a toilet, pedastel, bath to cut around? Is it really hard to do? and if i opted out and got someone to do it, is it expensive?

yes need to cover with ply and make sure its screwed down well in lots of places. Put a good wood type filler over the screw heads. Would be best to remove all the bath fittings, put the floor down and then sit everything back on top. Would recommend the kardean type tiles too.
