Mixed. They do look lovely but are not that different in construction to run of the mill carcasses etc. A friend had one in a house she rented and said she'd never buy one. Having said that we nearly did until we went for a more contemporary style. Where are you? Parlour Farm near Cirencester do lovely kitchens for a similar price.

Hang on,will try and put a pic on the profile!

maidamess · 01/09/2008 15:43

My friends just had one fitted and it LOOKS fab...but the carcasses are just basic ones. Their handles are nice though. It was pricey.

tortoiseshell · 01/09/2008 15:45

Ok, it's 4th down on my profile. We fitted it all ourselves, and it's not quite finished here, but couldn't find a later pic. It wasn't cheap, but fitting it all ourselves (and doing plumbing etc) saved a LOT of money!

tortoiseshell · 01/09/2008 15:46

The plinths at the bottom of the cupboards aren't fitted in that pic, but you get the idea.

maidamess · 01/09/2008 15:51

I reckon you can get the John Lewis 'look' for a fraction of the price. But yours does look nice tortoise

oooh that is lovely Tort!! bet you are over the moon

We are not doing the kitchen till 2009/10 but it took us 18 months to source all the stuff we wanted for the bathrooms so am getting stuff together ..

thank you! It took ages to do - about 2 years - because we did it all ourselves, so it wasn't expensive, but was a LONG time without a kitchen....

OneSimpleShopper · 29/07/2013 11:21

I've just bought one from the Beacosfield showroom. Expensive, but very attractive. Lots of frustrations with incorrect sizing of items, leaking hoses. A month after the fit started and I still don't have a fully functioning kitchen and I can't seem to find anyone who knows anything in the showroom who will do anything to fix things. Don't get your taps from Perrin and Rowe! Really disappointed with the service so far.

gillviola · 07/08/2013 17:03

We bought our utility room from the Harrogate showroom and the service was brilliant! Everything went as planned and although we used our own fitter, the designer was available by phone on the odd occasion that we needed some advice. Now I just have to save up for the kitchen.
