Re-wiring

I am about to let out a house I own and feel sure that it will need re-wiring. As I've never had this done before, I was wondering how disruptive it will be and whether they take the floor up?

Very disruptive. Boards up and, unless you want really awful surface mounting, channels chased into walls.

oh its not nice - never had it done myself but my DH has a building company and does it quite a lot - if you have good leckkies in they should minimise any disruption for you.
