Just got back from our hols in the US to find that the guy who told us he had stripped the walls in DD1's b room, our bedroom, and painted the kitchen has in fact:
*not stripped DDs walls
- not completed the job in our room
*not finished kitchen and in fact appears to have painted it in the dark last night as he knew we were back this am, so it looks shite.
He is the relative of a good friend, so we can't really bollock, he's been staying in our place. Looking after it in principle but also evidently having a grand old time in our absence. We've been gone for three weeks. He said he had other work to do (which we knew was possible.) My issue is he lied about where he was with it all, which he admitted...and then said...well, I hoped to have it done... .
