Chrome or satin finish

Do you prefer a chrome finish for taps or a satin/pewter? I'm about to order a tap for our kitchen and prefer the pewter finish, although DH thinks the chrome is more classic. The sink, hob, oven and door fittings will all be brushed steel.

Thank you!

brushed steel is a lot easier than chrome, its scratches easily and needs to be polished.
im a slummy mummy so go for the easier option

satin in the kitchen, esp if you have brushed steel sink. Not as many around but I think it looks better - plus doesn't show the water marks as much if you live in a hard water area like me...

satin.

Is it possible to get markproof too?

Satin for sure.
Looks more expensive, more unusual plus much easier to keep clean.
