Fitted wardrobes - roughly how much do they cost?

I know it is a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' question, but would like vague ideas before I start getting people in for quotes (may determine whether or not I even do get anyone in )....

It would be 2 wardrobes:
1 approx 240cm wide with sliding doors
1 that is total width of 220cm, but incorporates 1 single wardrobe, 1 double, and a door between them (to ensuite). That one would have to have hinged doors.

I paid £2,000 for 3 fitted wardrobe
one double with mirror inside
two with 3 doors incorporating two hanging rails in the double side and drawers shelves in single
i also got chest of drawers too

DH (sells kitchens, bathrooms & bedrooms)reckons £2.5k to £6k for top-of-the-range. I guess you could get cheaper than that, those prices would be for decent quality units though.

That sounds ok. I'll go ahead with getting quotes.

Dont suppose anyone knows (or is married to) a good wardrobe fitter in the Beds/Herts area?
