we want to put a glass partition between our kitchen area and the utility area.
Has anyone done this? Did you get the frame where you got the glass?
ANy tips if you have done this before?

Do you like cleaning mucky fingerprints off glass then?

Get toughened glass an if you don't like cleaning get sand blasted! It only looks good if its sparkling and clear.Get a glazing co to quote

What's wrong with glass blocks? Was thinking of using some above the bathroom door in our loft conversion...

Glass in partitions needs to be toughened so it doesn't shatter if hit, but any glazier will be able to advise on size of panes and do it. Does seem to be one of those jobs worth getting a professional for - MrNC put new glass in our bathroom door and did a great job, but it took him forever!

nothing wrong at all with glass blocks, we might end up using them if we can't find what we are looking for with a plain sheet of glass. Was just a different design preference more than anything else.
