Would a grey kitchen be horrible?

very exciting doing a new kitchen - never before

i had thought to have a beech shakery arrangement with grey stoney worktop like 99% of kitchens done in the 90s

but we are being given one of these i.e. grey/white rusticy look thing for the kitchen

feel perhaps now we should go for lightly distressed tongue and groove in a whitewashed kind of look - but could we get a sealed version? also i am a slut - white kitchen is receipt for disaster

not very good at this - any ideas? dark blue maybe?

It might look and feel a bit cold.

I think grey is lovely in a kitchen if you warm it up with oak or natural wood.

My kitchen walls are painted a soft grey colour called 'ostrich plume' and I love it. Its not cold at all.
