What is Isleworth like (near Richmond, Surrey)???

Just thinking of moving away, have my best friend in richmond but cant afford to live there, so just wondering what Isleworth is like?

You need to go and have a visit and see what you think of those areas, I think.

LyraSilvertongue, I live in Isleworth and don't find it scuzzy! OK it's not particularly posh and yes there is aircraft noise. But it's well located for all my fave places such as Kew Gdns, Richmond etc and I have met some very nice people here. It's like anywhere, has good bits and not so great bits.

Ah, it's ok Lyra - having said all that, I'm happy here - but still want to move !! But I do think it represents good value for money for anyone wanting to live in the area but unable to afford the likes of Richmond.

I could not live in Isleworth due to the airplane noise. It was the worst decision of my life to try and live in Isleworth.
