Does anyone have a view on Bridgfords estate agents?

Good or bad?

They are more expensive than others, but I'm not sure there's any discernible benefit in using them.

I expect you're all indifferent

when we sold our house they were one of the most expensive. Dont think they really did that much to sell our house and they did not actually validate the eventual buyer that well. yeah we have loads looking for houses like this. ..... 4 buyers and 8 weeks later finally sold. more down to luck than them marketing it.

That's interesting because that's what they really push - their ability to market, their extensive database etc. At the end of the day I'm sure 90% of the interest will come through rightmove.

that what we were told. but to be fair we had hardly anyone thru the door and the 'buyer not in a chain' turned out to be selling house. to be fair if you are lying to an estate agent i guess there is not much they can do about it. but we were not aware of the perceived benefit in using them' we charge more because we out all our resources behind it blah blah blah'. we were on their mailing list and they were not that pushy.

we used the internet to buy and i think most people do these days.
