Log Burner and External Flue Cost?

We’ve considered a log burner for many years, we don’t have a chimney so would need an external flue high enough to clear the 3rd floor windows.

Just wondering if anyone knows what this would roughly cost with an 8kw log burner?

Not sure what mine cost around 2016 - ask ChatGPT to cost it out for you?

If it's above 5kw then additional ventilation needs installing too. The flue needs to be above the roof line too I believe, not just the window.

We had a log burner fitted about 4 years ago, external flue to clear a 2 storey house. We also has a traditional style false chimney breast built and added a granite hearth, stone mantle and brick slips to line the chamber. Came in about £9k. Worth every penny!

About 5k for the flue and same again for the burner. Possibly more with increased costs for everything.
