I recently used Econoloft for a loft conversion - they've half done a terrible job, and have now announced they're liquidating. The work they've signed off doesn't comply with building regs and we've lost a lot of money.
The directors themselves have lied throughout. I found out today that there are over 100 customers in a similar situation - plus more who have paid but not started work.
If anyone is affected, please take a look at the Econoloft Liquidation Facebook group - we are trying to get as much info as possible and see what can be done. If you know anyone affected please pass this on!
It's a really difficult situation and we believe there is a criminal case here. Happy for anyone with questions to PM me.
