Cost and difficulty of adding an aerial socket for a front room TV

We're getting someone in to decorate the front room - but before that we could do with an aerial socket in there for a TV in the alcove for future use. (We still use Freeview.)
We already have an aerial on the roof, for the Freeview telly in the other living room.

How difficult a job is it to get another lead from the TV aerial down to the ground floor front room? Is it a tricky or costly job? Thanks for anyone who can help on this!

I’m not sure it’s worth the cost. At which ever point you buy a new TV you won’t need it.

But I don't want a smart TV particularly - the Panasonic Viera I have in my living room is just fine!
Does everything else just work off the Wi-fi then? Sorry, I am a Luddite on this stuff.

A Freely tele might be cheaper.

An aerial engineer would do the work, it's quite simple. It's also a fairly easy DIY job, But if you already have broadband then a Freely tele would be so much simpler, and you get HD pictures for channels in addition to the main 5.

Not that tricky or costly, a regular job for a local TV aerials person. Usually run it down outside the house and drill in through outside wall. You'll need to decide where you want the socket itself and they'll run the cable to it, usually along skirting boards or under carpet.

Yes, about £60 when we had it done 4 years ago.

Definitely worth it. We lost internet for 4 days recently when our router broke down, and we were very glad of old fashioned telly. Ditto radio as Alexa didn't work.

Terrestrial television is going to be turned off eventually, and probably in 2034
